Toronto: The Gathering of Tribes

Toronto is a Huron word that means "where the tribes gather" or "the meeting place."  I'm sure the Hurons had no clue just how prophetic the naming of this place would be!  Today this city is well known as the most cosmopolitan of all cities and a missions-strategic gateway city to reaching all the nations of the earth.

We firmly believe the end is near, and we think the Lord of the Harvest is gathering His peoples from across the earth to certain cities where they can have easy access to the Truth.  The gathering of tribes  and nations in Toronto is all a part of His providential plan.  We are thrilled that He has placed our family here and we invite you to join us in reaching the world from this very special city.  If your church has a reputation for being very missions-minded and evangelistic, then please prayerfully consider partnering with our ministry.  Our goal is to make sure that every South Asian in this city has an opportunity to hear the Gospel at least once.  We desperately need your prayers and participation!

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb...."  Rev. 7:9

I treasure reading your blog and what you have to share with all of us. I am praying for you and specifically that you will be able to share God's Word without resistance and/or hostility. I know you are willing to endure that if needed and probably have in your travels and sharing. I pray also as you said that you, Jeremy, will get into a specialist quickly. Bless you both and your beautiful boys.
